Oh how time flies. Avery is 8 weeks old and has just started smiling back at us. She is really a good baby. she has been a night time sleeper since birth-usually only waking up once a night. She also tolerates her brother's "attention" well. Owen likes to hug her, pat her and share things with her. Unfortunately he is a little rough so we have to monitor Avery pretty close when they are in the same room.
Avery is following in her brother's footsteps when it comes to ear infections. She already had her second. Maybe she will get tubes for Christmas too...or maybe for Halloween?
I'm headed back to work tomorrow. Avery gets to come with me for the first week...and maybe longer depending on how it goes. It's pretty quiet in the office in the summer, so I'm hopeful that I will be able to keep her with me.
