Busy, Busy, Busy!

Owen is now 10 months old and is very, very busy.  He keeps us so busy that I don't have time for blogging or taking pictures ;)  I'm hoping to keep the camera out this week so maybe we will get a few new shots of him.

A few highlights from the past couple months:
-Owen has 2 new teeth.  His first tooth came in about a month ago, and #2 came in last week.  As a result, he is usually a moving puddle of drool.

-He never really cared for traditional crawling.  He went from an army crawl, to a bear crawl/walk. He looks pretty funny and often makes people laugh when they see this.

-He loves to walk with things, especially his train (thanks Grandma).  He walks it back and forth in the room and finally figured out how to turn it around when he hits a dead end.

-Owen isn't a very big fan of table food if it isn't pureed.  He likes baby cheese puffs...which are kind of like cheetos for babies.  We thought that he liked cheerios too, but he may  have been just feeding them to Riggins.  We're still working on adding more foods. Just tonight we tried baked potato again and he liked it!

-He likes to wave "bye bye" but not necessarily at the appropriate time.

-He is still his favorite person.  He could spend all day looking at himself in the mirror.  Nothing makes him happier.

-Owen is working on standing on his own.  He has only made it a few seconds so far, but seems to be attempting it much more in the past few days.

-He has learned how to play catch...kind of.  He can trap the ball between his hands and the ground and does actually try to throw it back.  He is a big fan of throwing the ball.

-Owen may think that his name is "Owen, no no".  In a room full of toys that light up, play music, giggle, rattle, etc, he likes to try to play PS3 (or chew on the controller), with Riggins dog toys (again, they go straight in his mouth), or in the bathroom unrolling the toilet paper.
