Owen's favorite food is chicken nuggets. I once had great expectations for the type of food that Owen would eat. Nothing processed, breaded, etc. Then reality set in. We can't afford to buy all organic food and we don't have time to prepare something just for him every day. I decided that a compromise was ok and let him try chicken nuggets along with some brown rice, veggies and fruit. They quickly became his favorite.
Last week was an exceptionally difficult and busy week. As a result, I found that I was frequently looking to feed Owen things he liked so that we didn't have to struggle with him. We also didn't want his baby sitters to have trouble feeding him. Owen ate a lot of chicken nuggets last week. I think he has become accustomed to having them once a day. After 24 hours with no nuggets, a tantrum ensued.
Where are my nuggets???
Expressing his disappointment
Please give me chicken nuggets...
I think we will be taking a break from chicken nuggets.
In other news, Owen will be having his tear ducts opened tomorrow. It is a minor procedure, and quite common. We're hoping that the red, gooey eyes will be better in just a few days!

Laughing at Dad, but still refusing to eat
